ARTIST BIO

For the most part I am a self taught artist having painted sporadically over the past years in watercolour.  Since February 2003 I have been working with soft pastel exploring the diverse ways of applying the pastel and the use of colour to deliver rewarding effects.   Recently I have found painting with oil and acrylic is also very challenging and satisfying.   Being mostly a realist painter I have found that when using acrylic I love to paint abstract.  My passion is for capturing the various moods of the seascape and Australian landscape.

Currently, I am tutoring in pastel, exhibiting in various exhibitions locally and am part of the Studio 12 Gallery group.

Member of:  The Australian Guild of Realists Artists, The Pastel Society of Victoria - Australia, The Peninsula Arts Society and McClelland                                 Guild of Artists.
