ARTIST BIO

I can't remember a time when I wasn't interested in drawing and painting but it took until retirement for it to become a passion.   Inspiration has been drawn from scenery in Europe and Asia as well as throughout Australia.

My working life included architectural drafting,  when plans were drawn by hand, followed by a reincarnation into the not for profit industry when I went back to school to learn about graphic design which gave me artistic expression in my role in marketing management.

My first exhibition was the 2014 Mentone/Mordialloc Art Exhibition where I was thrilled to win a commendation for a watercolour painting of sunflowers.
