ARTIST BIO

Brett Jackson studied Graphic and Fine Art at several Technical Colleges,Box Hill, Preston and Caufield.

To earn a living Jackson worked in Factories and Market Gardens before entering into the Screenprinting Industry. Doing his own Apprenticeship working for different companies  Jackson learnt all facets of the trade.

In 1992 Jackson started his own Sign and Screenprinting business in Sydney.Whilst running the Boutique Factory Jackson won several AUSTRALASIAN screenprint and IMAGE AWARDS.

Moving to the Mornington Peninsula in 2010 Jackson is back into painting,printmaking and photography exhibiting locally winning awards and commendations.

DEEP QUARRY - the painting in the Knox EXhibition is one of a new series, coming out of exploring local quarries.Painted in the studio this work sits in the heat and stone of an errie space that haunts old ghost Quarries.
