I have always had the dream of creating artwork that would inspire. I was born in Melbourne, and am married with 2 teenage children whom I adore. They are my inspiration and bring so much joy to my life. I have been painting since I was a young girl. Painting is my happy place and brings out my creativity in so many ways. I enjoy painting with oils more than anything, as I love how the paint dries slowly; It gives me the control I need until the desired result is achieved. I love painting colourful/bright and meaningful works of art that will inspire and bring joy to any home or office. You will probably notice that I have created quite a few paintings with flowers. I really enjoy creating abstract paintings which are a reflection of how I feel. My inspiration is drawn from life itself and various seasons or moments in my life. As a result every piece has a special meaning and hope that it will also inspire you.
Education: Bachelor of Education - Majored in Art with High Distinctions - As a primary teacher I have enjoyed teaching Art to my students over the years and enjoy instilling passion for creativity and art within my students.
Each painting is one-of-a-kind impressionistic paintings that have paint layered, dripped, painted, spattered and brushed onto the canvas surface to create a rich texture surface.
The paintings continue onto the edges of the canvas (stretched on a wooden frame), creating a finished look so the canvas does not require a frame. The sides are painted and the back is wired so they are ready to hang.
An archival, UV resistant, gloss varnish has been applied to protect the surface of each painting. The paintings has been signed, titled and dated on the back.
