Artist Bio  Victorian Australian Judith Devey-Deitz from Phillip Island a ninth generation Australian. Judith started painting at the age of 4 selling sketches. She now spends time daily in her studio where she works with acrylics, inks and oils. Experimenting with different pigments on down times and incorperating colour knowledge with her art.  A unique and individual style shines in each painting.   Each painting takes on its own persona, it pushes me in a direction I never could never anticipat or plan. My paintings guide me, I  feel if I take too much control I lose the feel of the composition. As in music I cannot stop the rythem or beat, it has to be allowed to flow. My passion is for all things in nature.

I  paint my canvas using nature as my inspiration and I design with imagination. I am awed by the detail of complex organic design found in nature and beauty of the natural word. I try use these perfect natural examples to inspirit and create.

All my art works are Archival and only quality pigments, inks and canvas is used.
